The APP-HRF group has a mentor framework that we encourage early career HRF clinicians to utilise.

Please have a look below and leave a comment if you are interested in either being a mentor, or being mentored using the framework below.

I am quite happy to mentor but can't guarentee I'll know all the answers!! I work in NT in remote communities doing consults, teaching other health professionals and doing primary health education in communities as opportunity arises. My primary interests are limb salvage in relation to indigenous remote populations.

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for your interest in mentoring! Your work sounds very interesting and I'm sure there are many clinicians early in their career who would benefit from your expertise and experience. If we get any enquiries via email (and not through this page), we will look to connect you!

Hi, I am currently working in a small hospital in rural Victoria. I have a great interest in high risk foot management and limb salvage and am keen to learn from other like-minded podiatrists. I am hoping to get connected with a mentor if possible as there is very limited support for podiatrists working in the rural area.

    Thanks for reaching out Lisa,

It was really nice catching up on the phone today. I will reach out to a few of our membership base within regional Victoria to see if we can get things started for you.
